In the morning, your guide from Kilimanjaro Raven Company will pick you up from your hotel in Moshi or Arusha and begin the scenic drive toward Materuni Village located on the green slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Upon arrival, meet your local guide and begin a beautiful hike through coffee plantations, banana farms, local villages, and lush tropical vegetation. Along the way, learn about Chagga culture, traditional farming methods, medicinal plants, and daily village life.
After approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour of walking, arrive at the spectacular Materuni Waterfalls, one of the tallest waterfalls in the Kilimanjaro region.
